Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about NetSuite Changelog and how we operate.

What is NetSuite Changelog?

NetSuite Changelog is an independent community resource that tracks and organizes NetSuite platform updates, release notes, and documentation changes. We take publicly available Oracle documentation and rewrite it in a friendlier, more digestible format for the NetSuite community.

Is this an official Oracle or NetSuite website?

No. NetSuite Changelog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oracle Corporation or NetSuite. This is an independent community project. For official information, please visit the Oracle NetSuite Help Center.

Where does the content come from?

All source material comes from publicly available Oracle NetSuite documentation, primarily from the official NetSuite Help Center at docs.oracle.com. We transform this content into community-friendly articles that are easier to navigate and understand.

Do you own the content you publish?

No. The original content and intellectual property belong to Oracle Corporation. We rewrite and reorganize publicly available documentation to make it more accessible. Every article links back to its original Oracle source so you can always reference the official documentation.

How often is the site updated?

We update the site regularly as Oracle publishes new release notes, documentation changes, and platform updates. Major NetSuite releases (like 2025.1, 2025.2) get comprehensive coverage, and weekly help center updates are tracked as they happen.

Can I use this content for my organization?

The content on this site is provided for informational purposes only. You are welcome to use it as a reference to stay informed about NetSuite changes. However, since the original intellectual property belongs to Oracle, we recommend referencing the official Oracle documentation for any formal or commercial purposes.

How do I search for specific features?

Use the search bar in the top navigation (or press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K) to search across all articles, release notes, and releases. You can search by feature name, module, keyword, or release version.

Can I subscribe to updates?

Yes! We send a free weekly email digest every Monday with all NetSuite documentation changes from the previous week — new articles grouped by category, recently updated articles, and blog posts. Subscribe at netsuitechangelog.com/subscribe or using the form at the bottom of any page.

Do you have an RSS feed?

Yes. We offer a combined RSS feed at /rss.xml that includes articles, blog posts, and release notes — the 50 most recent items sorted chronologically. Add it to your favorite RSS reader to stay updated.

Is this site free?

Yes, NetSuite Changelog is completely free to use. There are no paywalls, premium tiers, or hidden costs. The site is sustained through category-targeted sponsorships from NetSuite ecosystem companies — one small, non-intrusive card per article page.

How does advertising work on this site?

We offer category-targeted sponsorships for companies in the NetSuite ecosystem. Sponsors choose which article categories their brand appears in, and a single sponsorship card shows in the article sidebar. Every sponsor is manually reviewed for relevance — we only accept NetSuite-related companies. Impressions are deduplicated and bot-filtered. Sponsors get a full transparency dashboard with daily stats and article-level attribution. Visit our Advertise page for pricing and details.

Can I advertise on your weekly newsletter?

Yes. When setting up a sponsorship, you can opt in to include your brand in our weekly email digest. Your company name and tagline appear inline with matching category headers in the newsletter. This is a flat monthly rate per category, separate from the website CPM.

How do you track article views?

We use a privacy-friendly tracking system. All visitor identifiers are hashed with SHA-256 — we never store raw IP addresses. Views are deduplicated per visitor per 24 hours, and bot traffic (Googlebot, Bingbot, etc.) is automatically filtered. We do not use third-party ad networks or sell visitor data.

How can I report an issue or suggest an improvement?

Use the feedback buttons at the bottom of each article to rate its quality. If you vote "No", you can tell us what was wrong — inaccurate content, missing information, etc. You can also reach us via the Contact page or by email.

Who built this site?

NetSuite Changelog was built by Martin Clavell, a NetSuite developer and consultant passionate about making the NetSuite ecosystem more accessible to everyone.
