Creating Campaign Email Address Records in NetSuite

Campaign email addresses are essential for marketing communications within NetSuite, allowing you to specify the From field in your emails and receive replies. Before sending out email campaigns, it's crucial to validate the email addresses you intend to use.

How to Create a Campaign Email Address Record

Follow these steps to create a campaign email address record:

1. Navigate to Setup > Sales & Marketing Automation > Email Addresses > New.
2. On the Campaign Email Address page, enter the desired email address.
3. Optionally, check the Private box to restrict access to this email address record to only the creator, preventing others from viewing or assigning it to templates.
4. Click Save.

Upon saving, NetSuite will dispatch an authorization code to the specified email address. You must enter this code in the campaign email address record to activate its use.

How to Validate an Email Address

To validate your campaign email address, do the following:

1. Go to Setup > Sales & Marketing Automation > Email Addresses.
2. Click Edit next to the email address you want to validate.
3. In the Authorization Code field, enter the code received via email from NetSuite.
   • Tip: The authorization code is valid for 24 hours. If it expires, click Send New Code to obtain a new one.
4. Click Save.

Once validated, this email address can be used in campaign email templates as both the From address and the Reply-to address. With the creation of target groups, email templates, and validated email addresses, you're set to execute effective email marketing campaigns.
