When you bill Shopify sales orders in NetSuite, creating a cash sale instead of an invoice is essential. This approach ensures that your sales data syncs correctly and that undeposited cash sales and cash refunds are processed appropriately. Cash sales and refunds must be undeposited to allow for linking to a deposit record that captures corresponding Shopify fees. Important Note: Cash sales that are already in a deposited status cannot be linked to a deposit record.
