Setting Handling Time for Amazon with NetSuite Connector

Handling time is crucial for managing customer expectations when selling products on Amazon. The leadtime-to-ship field in the NetSuite Connector is used to specify the handling time for Amazon orders. This guide provides a step-by-step approach to properly map this field to ensure accurate handling time reporting.

How to Map the Handling Time Field

1. Log in to app.farapp.com.
2. Select the Amazon connector and your relevant account.
3. Navigate to Mappings > Products.
4. Choose Amazon from the Category list.
5. Click Add Mapping. This opens the Add Amazon Field Mapping popup window.
6. Select leadtime-to-ship from the Standard list.
7. Click Add Mapping to add it to the Product Mappings page.
8. Click Close.
9. In the mapping row, choose one of the following options:
   • To use a default value for all items:
     1. Set Mapping Type to Use Default.
     2. Enter your desired value in the Default Value field.
     3. For multiple Amazon accounts, select the appropriate account from the dropdown in the Account column.
   • To map a specific NetSuite field value:
     1. Set Mapping Type to Item Field.
     2. Enter the corresponding field ID in the NetSuite Field ID column.
     3. Provide a default value in the Default Value field for when the mapped field is blank.
10. Click Save.
11. If prompted, confirm reloading your items by clicking Yes, Reload My Items. Note that this may take some time depending on the number of items.
