Text Enhance Usage Limit View in NetSuite Administration

Text Enhance provides a monthly pool of limited, free usage, helping businesses manage their AI-related actions in NetSuite effectively. The usage table found in the Text Enhance subtab of the AI Preferences page summarizes available quotas, helping users stay aware of their limits.

How to View Text Enhance Usage Limit

To check the usage limit and usage statistics for your account, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Setup > Company > AI > AI Preferences.
2. Click the Text Enhance subtab.
3. Locate the usage table, which displays the following information:
   • Month: The month and year of usage.
   • Usage Limit: The allowed number of Text Enhance uses for the account each month.
   • Used Quantity: The instances of Text Enhance actions utilized within that month. It's important to note that only successful actions utilizing the generative AI service are counted. A comprehensive view of the counting method includes:
     • If a user employs the Generate feature, edits the result, follows it with Clean Up, saves it, two uses are recorded as successfully completed actions.
     • A scenario where a user cancels a generated result without saving it still counts both the Generate and Make Shorter actions as two successful uses.
     • Actions like Undo and Redo do not contribute to the count even if executed after a successful action.
     • If a generation attempt encounters an error but still results in a completed action, it counts as one use.
     • Translation actions using the generative AI are counted as successful uses.

Note: Initially, the usage table will not display data until at least one successful use of Text Enhance occurs. If there hasn’t been any usage within a month, that month will not show in the table.
